Checkers Bistro in Lancaster PA, has consistently lived up to a very high standard of quality, well prepared meals, both unique and delicious. Their menu include a delectable array of soups, salads, a variety of small plates as well as sandwiches and main entree. There is not a single item that should be missed including their scrumptious desserts. David and Masami are a remarkable and enthusiastic team who openly express their love and energy for an excellent dining experience and infuse that same energy to all their staff. Server Kenny was very helpful and full of suggestions and never once were we rushed to make a decision. The atmosphere is relaxing with subdued lighting and candles flickering throughout all of the dining area. A very romantic restaurant but not stuffy, casual but elegant. First time guests joined me for dinner, who were amazed and could not find one single flaw and cannot wait for a return visit.
