PA Covered Bridges, Lancaster Country, Lancaster Inn PA

Covered Bridges can be found in every corner of Lancaster County Pennsylvania.  Many visitors will spend several hours driving the beautiful rolling hills and farmland to discover each unique setting and bridge characteristics.  The longest bridge, Pine Grove spans 204 feet, which is a double span bridge.  The longest single span bridge is the 180 foot Hunsecker's Mill Bridge and the shortest is the 53 foot Landis Mill with a whole lot of other bridges in between.  Each of the bridges has it's own charm, which visitors in Lancaster County Pennsylvania love to explore.  Many innkeepers at the local bed and breakfasts, have information and are able to provide detailed maps and some even have books for guests to borrow.  Each season provides a new backdrop of color and interest.  With over 22 covered bridges in Lancaster County, you will want to come back several times to explore a different section of the county.    Take a picnic and enjoy the afternoon in the nicer weather, but you would not want to miss the opportunity to capture a picture during the winter months.  The After Eight Bed and Breakfast is pleased to assist guests in exploring the Covered Bridges of Lancaster PA.
